Wraith was born in 2701 on the planet Typhon. She worked for the IMC as a Senior Science Pilot, testing phase shift technology together with her colleague Amor Signh. The 2 engineers were unable to find any humans who were willing to be used for testing, so Wraith volunteerd to become a test subject instead. The experiment did not go as planned, which resulted in Wraith suffering from extreme memory loss, and she began to hear voices telling her what to do. Instead of helping his colleague, Amor Signh decided to user her for more experiments and testing. After all of this, Wraith was sent to the planet Solace for termination.

After Renee was sent to Solace, a warrior in a white suit and purple helmet came out of a phase portal, into the room she was in. The warrior was another version of her, but from an alternate universe. This Renee was looking for revenge, she came to murder Signh.
